AMD Radeon graphics users are ready to game in the Battlefield 1 Open Beta, with our latest version of Radeon Software 16.8.2.

We are pretty excited for the launch of EA DICE’s Battlefield 1 in October, but until then we’re diving into the Open Beta when it launches tomorrow on August 31st.

Join us on AMD’s Twitch channel on August 31st at 5PM EST as we stream the Battlefield 1 Open Beta, delving into the never-before explored setting of World War I in the Battlefield franchise.

The last major installment in the series, Battlefield 4™, was released three years ago back in 2013, as one of the first games to support AMD’s Mantle API. Battlefield 1 takes inspiration from World War I, a turning point in modern warfare with its devastating uses of tanks, poison gases and international alliances—all featured in the game. The title will include a substantial campaign, but we won’t be seeing this in Open Beta.

Instead, the Open Beta will introduce us to the Sinai Desert map, and the Conquest and Rush modes. You can read about the map and two modes’ details here on Battlefield’s official website.

Tune into our stream on August 31st at 5PM EST here.

Good luck and see you on the front lines!
