Jaw-dropping gaming experiences, extravagant booths and a massive crowd of attendees

If you thought day one of Gamescom 2017 was exciting, then hold on to your hats as we dive into a quick recap of day two.

We started our adventure off again in AMD’s booth in Hall 10.1 and got our hands on some sweet Radeon™ RX Vega and AMD Ryzen™ Threadripper™ systems. What really caught our eye was a sleek ROG gaming laptop – built with a Radeon™ RX 580 and AMD Ryzen™ 7 inside.

After AMD’s booth we decided to venture further into the gaming world. Ubisoft’s booth was first on our list and it was massive. Eager attendees swarmed demos, waiting for their turn to play Ubisoft’s upcoming titles. The Crew 2 and Rainbow Six Seige Operation Blood Orchid ran on AMD and Radeon™ powered PCs. On top of that Ubisoft was showcasing Far Cry 5 and Assasin’s Creed: Origins – what more could you want?

EA’s booth was up next and it was brought to life with stunning panels, a colourful array of lights and pounding music – taking epic to the next level. On one side was an army of Battlefield 1 demos, hurling Gamescom attendees into war. On the other side was Stars Wars Battlefront II – accompanied with a life-size TIE Fighter and X-Wing Starfighter.

We also had the opportunity to check out Samsung’s super ultra-wide QLED monitors with AMD FreeSync technology and ventured into the Indie Arena (which was jam-packed)!

Gamescom 2017 is already flying by and we can’t wait to share more with you tomorrow!
