YOUR DESTINY IS IN YOUR BLOOD…
This December, Ubisoft’s insanely popular Assassin’s Creed game franchise makes the leap to the big screen. But before you journey into the past alongside Callum Lynch to relive his ancestor’s memories as a Master Assassin, we invite you to step into the Animus for a taste of the action with the Assassin’s Creed VR Movie Experience.
Available for free exclusively through the Oculus video store, this VR experience gives you a brief but pulse-pounding glimpse of the Animus, and places you at the center of a daring rescue attempt. Filmed on the same set as the feature film with the Spanish Inquisition as the backdrop, you’ll witness Leaps of Faith and intense swordplay as you’re escorted from cell to freedom
You can stream the Assassin’s Creed Movie VR Experience for the Oculus Rift on December 1st (make sure you have the Rift headset on and the Oculus Video app open), and be sure to catch Assassin’s Creed starring Michael Fassbender and Jeremy Irons, in theaters on December 21st.
What if you don’t own an Oculus Rift? No worries! From December 2nd through January 1st, 2017, select AMC theaters in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Austin, and New York City will have several stations featuring this VR experience on display to enjoy before or after the movie. Each kiosk is powered by the newest Alienware Aurora PC featuring our Radeon™ RX 480 graphics cards.
Each location above will be presenting the Assassin’s Creed Movie VR Experience nonstop during the following dates and times:
12/3 & 12/4: 2PM-9PM
12/21 through 12/23: 3PM-10PM
12/24 & 12/25: 2PM-9PM
12/31 & 1/1: 2PM-10PM
